Does “never had to use cash in Korea” mean that you can ALSO use cash, or is digital the only option?
Some places it is the only option, but they are not a majority. You still can use cash probably 90%, but don’t have to.
I'm visiting Hong Kong and Japan for the first time next week, will be interesting to contrast the two, thanks for the tips!
